Abstract

Someone who has a high level of job satisfaction will show a positive attitude towards their work, but someone with a low level of job satisfaction will show a negative attitude towards their work. To assess whether a person has a high level of job satisfaction, this can be seen through Herzberg's two-factor theory, namely the Motivator Factor, which means a person's factors in being able to fulfill their higher level needs and the reasons why a person feels satisfied with their job. In the two-factor theory proposed by Herzberg, job satisfaction and job dissatisfaction are two different things. So in his research, Herzberg divided two groups, namely the satisfactory group and the unsatisfactory group. The group of satisfiers or motivators is a factor that proves the source of job satisfaction which comes from work self, responsibility and progress. This research aims to measure the level of satisfaction of students studying in the SAINTEK department at Islam State University of Raden Fatah Palembang regarding the provision of grades carried out by workers, namely lecturers in educational institutions. This research was conducted because the level of student satisfaction with educational services is related to the expectations and reality felt by students. Survey research requires data collection through questionnaires. To distribute the questionnaire, the researcher first designed a statement scale from Herzberg's two-factor theory. The factors studied in this research case are motivators, in the motivator factors there are 3 dimensions measured, namely: 1) The work itself, 2) Recognition, 3) Self-development. The dimensions measured consist of 4 items with a total of 14 statements with Likert scale measurements starting from 4 Very Appropriate) to 1 (Not Appropriate). The questionnaire was distributed via Google Form and had to be answered by 40 research samples from students from the science and technology faculty at Islamic State University of  Raden Fatah Palembang. Based on the explanation of the results of this research, it can be concluded that the Motivator Factor Scale has high validity with RMSEA values <.06 and CFI/TLI >.95, which means it meets the fit requirements. Then it has good reliability with a value of 0.8. Reliability is high with a value of 0.8 and the categorization obtained is moderate.Someone who has a high level of job satisfaction will show a positive attitude towards their work, but someone with a low level of job satisfaction will show a negative attitude towards their work.
