Suggestion has long been recognized as an influential force in shaping human thought and behavior. Recent research shows that suggestions have a significant impact on brain neuroplasticity, mental well-being, and motivation. Suggestion is a psychological phenomenon that has long attracted the attention of researchers and practitioners in the field of mental health. In the context of psychology, suggestion can be defined as the process of accepting an idea, belief, or mindset without in-depth critical evaluation. Consistent positive suggestions can change brain structure, improve mental well-being, and increase motivation. Neuroimaging studies show changes in brain activity related to suggestion practices. A holistic approach that integrates suggestion with practices such as mindfulness and visualization shows higher effectiveness. The spiritual perspective highlights the role of suggestion in improving spiritual well-being. This study uses the literature review method. Where literature review is a search and literature research by reading various recommended journals. Syntax Literature, Syntax idea, and Google Scholar, with keywords: general psychology, suggestion, Placebo effect, Positive psychology, Mind power, Neuroplasty, motivation, Subconscious mind. The criteria for this article are articles that are full text in Indonesian and translated English, which are published in the interval of 2019-2023.
